Sooner or later, every photographer has to find his “own voice” with his pictures. It was easy for me because I was looking for a certain feeling during our first wedding reportage, and it still accompanies me at work today. I tried to faithfully express the feelings and mood. The positive feedback confirmed that I am on the right track. The magic of the spontaneously caught moments and the portrayal of people in a special milieu have always inspired me.
Later I was swept away by a new tendency that places the creative attitudes in a kind of artistic, 'graphic' environment. The unusual backgrounds make the pictures more powerful, and with the play of colors and exposures the events can be conjured up even more exciting.
Finally, I arrived at the natural simplicity of the clarified, minimalist presentation. The modern, bold compositions and the new perspective spurred me on to more detailed photos and pictures of the surroundings. In this way, the pictures tell an even more rounded, comprehensive story about the joy and happiness of two people.
