Charl lives on the Eastern Cape coast of South Africa in an area renowned for its wildlife, golden beaches, and stunning river valley landscapes. His photographic focus is on nature, animal life and capturing the natural beauty he currently resides in. In addition Charl is also a writer and publisher, having written several novels as well as a popular travel guide for Venice, Italy. He loves travel, good food, and early morning beach walks with his partner, Adeline.
